Michael Cohen pleaded for freedom after seeing US Marshal with shackles, pal says

Michael Cohen pleaded not to be hauled back into prison after US Marshals broke out the shackles when they took him into custody Thursday.

“I’ll sign exactly what you want me to sign, so I don’t have to go back to jail,” Cohen whined to the lawmen who proceeded to chain him and take him into their custody, his former lawyer and friend Lanny Davis said.

Cohen was brought into custody by the marshals at Manhattan federal court, where he reported Thursday morning to have an ankle bracelet attached and to sign terms of his new home confinement.

Cohen refused to agree to the first term of the home confinement deal, which would’ve barred him from speaking to the press and blocked him from publishing a tell-all book that he’s been writing while behind bars in an upstate New York federal prison.

When he refused to sign, federal authorities left the room and returned an hour and a half later with the shackle-carrying marshals.

According to Davis, when he saw the marshals emerge from an elevator, Cohen’s lawyer, Jeff Levine, turned to Cohen and said: “I hope they’re not here for you.”

“The next thing that happened was the Marshals said they had an order signed by someone from the Bureau of Prisons. The order was to arrest him and put him in jail, and they started to put shackles on him,” said Davis, who spoke to Levine after Cohen’s arrest.

“Michael reacted very quickly and said, ‘I’ll sign exactly what you want me to sign, so I don’t have to go back to jail,’ ” Davis said.

“The comment from one of the three Marshals, was: ‘It’s out of our hands,’ ” he added.

That would make me nervous as hell being a pawn on the Clinton’s chessboard.

Because you’re supposed to be serving hard time, not enjoying and enriching and promoting yourself.

Cohen is supposed to be serving a three-year sentence for crimes that include
1.tax evasion,
2.bank fraud
3.lying to Congress,
4. covering up hush-money payments
to porn star Stormy Daniels and ex-Playboy model Karen McDougal.

So the guy's convicted on four heavy felonies, gets a soft 3 years(out in 18 months?) and is granted a Covid-19 release to home confinement.

Is Cohen going to thank the gods of Justice, be a good boy and stay in the house?

Hell, no.

He heads for a very posh Manhattan restaurant up in the East 60's. Cohen thinks "Nothing's too good for this legal-eagle with clipped wings."

So when they grab him to apply an ankle bracelet, he tries to negotiate terms. But "permission denied" to indulge in some money-making schemes--the kind that got Michael jailed.

Now Cohen is wearing irons and probably headed back to the cage.

Jail is the only place for a raging felonious ego like that.

Ok, I stand corrected....never been fishing in Central America...

Looks like a rocky (rock bass).

I primarily fish for sandies and hybrids and cats. Sauc-au-lait are fun shooting for them under boat docks.

“Where did the President come up with this guy.?“

From what I’ve observed over the past four years identifying and recruiting talented people for critical jobs is not one of Donald Trump’s core competencies.

He’s a real dumb a**. I don’t think he and Trump were buds...he was just his attorney. I’ve had a jerk for an attorney, too. But he was a good attorney...

"The first thing we will do is kill all the lawyers", Willy Shakespeare.

There are over a million attorneys sucking the blood of America and there are only three that should be left alive.

I'll leave it up to them to figure out who they are.

Even the "good lawyers" that I hired were dirt bags, and could have switched sides in a heartbeat.

Lawyers don't care about justice, or right and wrong, they care about winning so they can get bigger fees.

They start the "game" in the first year of law school, where they switch "positions" and then switch back at the command of the teacher.

By constant training, lawyers learn only winning counts, screw lady justice.

Don’t violate the provisions of your release and you don’t get re-arrested, you idiot.

There are laws against profiting from crimes one previously committed. And lawyers have additional requirements with non-disclosure concerning former clients.
