I don’t know what President Trump is waiting for he has the Authority to fire a General who ignores the orders of the CIC.
President Truman had the guts to fire General MacArthur and that was during a war.
President really needs to get these Generals under control.

CJCS is displaying his lack of education. The confederate generals on active duty resigned to offer their service to their states. It was a public action. They weighed their loyalty to their homes and the Federal Government and chose their homes first. They were honorable men and not traitors.
CJCS has become too involved in the politics of the moment... the BLM movement and its emotional opportunism that is creating “bogey men” to justify what is going on in too many cities. He needs to stand down and let the dead rest in peace. As stated above, they were men of honor and most worked to heal the wounds when the battles were over.
