A simple F U would of been better.

He sort of said that in a very nice way.

” I do appreciate people speaking their mind to me on this issue – it helped me generate this note to explain why we are continuing our commitment to police forces all over the world in our trusted products. Thank you for caring so deeply about the Company and our people, and for all you do for Ford.””

I think his last paragraph is exactly that. I like it.

Yup. An open letter to these Ford employees would be nice.

Dear Ford Employees who wish to cancel cops,

Go to Hell

I disagree. I figure these cars are pretty high margin vehicles. Ford should simply ask which of the supporters of this action are willing to give up their jobs due to the reduced profit Ford would make.

I think a pink slip would be more appropriate.

How many Ford employees actually made the demands? Most of these protests are by a very small number of people who act like they have a big voice.

Agreed. That said, I thought his response was very good.

I think some corporations are learning from the miserable experiences of FB and other tech firms...you can never be woke enough, and what was woke when you said it may fifteen minutes later lead to your being declared an Enemy of the People.

A good ES&D (eat shit and die) letter is always better than a simple FU
