There are some Christians who believe this whole COVID-19 was a set-up practice run for the Black Swan event called the Rapture. The elites know it is coming since they are heavily into Satanic Ritualism - they even admit it in their description of the “Age of Aquarius” nonsense.
Don’t think for a hot second that God won’t pull the switch on the Marxists to catch them off-guard.
I've enjoyed studying End Times theology, and one thing is pretty clear: America doesn't seem to play much, if any, role. I used to think that meant America would get destroyed in a war, but now I believe we'll simply implode from the rampant immorality. We'll lose any moral standing in the world, and thus will have to stand by and watch as events play out. Does that mean we should stop fighting against the enemy? Absolutely not. God is still sovereign and His plan will work.
I always wondered how God could justify the wrath against the world (didn’t seem that bad to me growing up). But then I did a word study to find out how God feels about child sacrifice (today’s pre-born genocide).
Well, on the national level, God does not forgive legalized child sacrifice. There is a reprieve with overturning the law but otherwise, the consequence is invasion and conquest. On His time line.

I believe that the marxists, and communism as an ideology, are what John referred to in Revelation. I used to think that the anti-Christ would be a person, hideous in appearance and so repulsive that we the believers would know who he is. The anti-Christ, IMHO, is the evil communist ideology which basically is the antithesis of what Jesus taught—love, respect for life, compassion and service to those in need, and personal responsibility.
The way that things are going, I sometimes feel like I don’t want to be around to watch our great country die. I never in my life thought I would see communism and socialism (not that there is much difference) would be taking center stage. And there is a great lack of leadership at all levels of government.
