So, we can conclude that the mayor is a (slimy, two-timing, zero morals, low IQ, marshmallow-major) Democrat?

Could have saved key strokes by just typing “Democrat”.

Just looked it up, and a bonus, wanna know what race Democrat?

But of course, Democrat state conventions are NOT cancelled. This is how they do it. Destroy churches by ordering them not to meet for months. Stop Republican conventions. As the diabolical Saul Alinsky wrote in his demonic masterpiece "Rules for Radicals": "Pick the target, freeze it, personalize it, and polarize it. Cut off the support network and isolate the target from sympathy."

I’m sure the hospitality industry in Houston is so grateful that they don’t have to sell rooms and dinners to those rascally republicans. I mean with all the bookings they have for the Rockets and Astros where would they put them?

On the other hand, what idiot thought that having any sort of event in Houston was a good idea? Especially in July (or August).

And especially a supposedly conservative event, In Sheila Jackson Lee land.

I've of mixed opinion on this.

On the one hand, I'm a local and would like to see a convention happen in Houston.

On the other hand, I do understand that holding the convention obligates people to have to work the facility, and they may not want to. That means concessions, operations, security, custodial, etc.

Many of those workers are private, but some are city workers. So, it's a tough call.

Laura Ingraham just had TX LT Gov Dan Patrick on, talking about this, and the leftist push to steamroll school openings, this fall.

Patrick said it was disgusting how Houston Mayor Sylvester Turner had weeks to cancel this convention, but, played total politics by canceling it at THE LAST MINUTE!

Turner never criticized the riots/protests that caused the spike in China Flu, yet he cancels the state GOP Convention.

Patrick said the convention WILL happen, whether in person or online.

This is where our delegates are chosen, for November convention.
