“The Atlanta Braves honor, support and value the Native American community. That will never change,” the Braves said in a statement.

However, as the Athletic’s Ken Rosenthal reports, the team is not yet decided about whether to keep the “Tomahawk Chop.”

They ditched Chief Nok-a-Homa years ago, putting an actual Native American out of a job.

The Tomahawk Chop is too violent.

They should replace it by guillotining white people at home plate during the 7th inning stretch.

It funny. The fans of Exeter Chiefs in the English Premiership Rugby League regularly do the tomahawk chop—along with the chant. Some even wear headgear. Looking forward to seeing rugby again after the Wuhan...

Professional sports is dying anyway.

Politics has killed it.

What's funny is that Chief Zee, longtime Redskins mascot was black. As with Cowboy mascot Crazy Ray.

Florida has lots of chopping teams. ...

Someone gave me tickets to a Florida State football game years ago. It started around the middle of the first quarter and did not let up for the rest of the game.

What is that? One of those things doctors use to test your knee reflexes? There's your new name. The Atlanta Take-a-Knees. Fans can do a modified version of The Tomahawk Chop.

But then some team might change its name to The Turn-your-head-and-coughs. I don't think I want to see their fans doing their version of The Tomahawk Chop.

I think all these teams should rename themselves after famous white men, and then watch the liberals heads explode.
