Mary Trump’s Book Accuses the President of Embracing ‘Cheating as a Way of Life’
NY Times ^ | 7/7/2020 | Maggie Haberman and Alan Feuer

Mary L. Trump, President Trump’s niece, plans to publish a tell-all family memoir next week, describing how a decades long history of darkness, dysfunction and brutality turned her uncle into a reckless leader who, according to her publisher, Simon & Schuster, “now threatens the world’s health, economic security and social fabric.”

The book, “Too Much and Never Enough: How My Family Created the World’s Most Dangerous Man,” depicts a multigenerational saga of greed, betrayal and internecine tension and seeks to explain how President Trump’s position in one of New York’s wealthiest and most infamous real-estate empires helped him acquire what Ms. Trump has referred to as “twisted behaviors” — attributes like seeing other people in “monetary terms” and practicing “cheating as a way of life.”Here are some of the highlights from her manuscript:

Cheating on a College Entrance Test As a high school student in Queens, Ms. Trump writes, Donald Trump paid someone to take a precollegiate test, the SAT, on his behalf. The high score the proxy earned for him, Ms. Trump adds, helped the young Mr. Trump to later gain admittance as an undergraduate to the University of Pennsylvania’s prestigious Wharton business school.Trump has often boasted about attending Wharton, which he has referred to as “the best school in the world” and “super genius stuff.”

“The fact is,” she writes, “Donald’s pathologies are so complex and his behaviors so often inexplicable that coming up with an accurate and comprehensive diagnosis would require a full battery of psychological and neurophysical tests that he’ll never sit for.” At another point she says: “Donald has been institutionalized for most of his adult life, so there is no way to know how he would thrive, or even survive, on his own in the real world.”

Biden said he had 3 degrees and was in the top of his class. When confronted with the truth, he said he forgot. He plagiarized other people’s speeches too.
I guess now, if he says he forgot, it’s believable.

Agree. He was at Fordham 2 years. Trump transferred with the help of Freddys high school friend, who was an admission counselor. Originally Trump wanted to be a movie producer. But was turned down by a CA college.

““Donald has been institutionalized for most of his adult life, so there is no way to know how he would thrive, or even survive, on his own in the real world.””

Since this statement is a provable lie the entire book can be logically disregarded. Probably rantings of a jealous niece but I don’t really know or care about the precise motivations.

“These stories must be hearsay, as Mary Trump was not even ALIVE...”

Drunks and addicts are notorious liars. I can just imagine the stories and excuses that her father told her family.

Yep, that is exactly how these idiots think. The company I work for used to make all their own tooling. Now, we contract most of it out. One of the suppliers I work with used to have a small, family owned shop that employed three family members and worked out of their garage. We helped him build a business that bought an abandoned church which now employs 30.

About three years ago, I encouraged the owner to expand his customer base because we were the vast majority of his business and I told him that wasn't healthy. As a result, his business is still humming along even though we have hit a rough spot. Three years ago, we were about 80% of his business; today we are less than 20% because he took my advice.

I'm happy because we still have a financially viable and healthy supplier. He is happy because he has a much broader client base. It is what we call a win-win in business. Libtards never understand this.

Yes, I could have been a jerk and put him out of business, but he understands I did the right thing out of our mutual self-interests.

His grandmother ( or maybe great aunt?) was a very strong Christian and part of the Welsh revival in early 1900’s

Interesting. “Cheating as a way of life.” When he was campaigning, many business people said that a deal with Trump sealed with just his handshake was better than any contract on paper.

At another point she says: “Donald has been institutionalized for most of his adult life, so there is no way to know how he would thrive, or even survive, on his own in the real world.”

Sure lady.

Ignore the fact that from the 1980’s onward Trump has been in the public eye, running his real estate empire, hosting beauty pageants, and being a regular on The Apprentice.

This woman is delusional.

Really? The world has seen the President persecuted by a corrupt cheating government which includes a coup. What a stupid book.

So true! My husband’s art school roommate told my husband that business is “organized crime”. They are clueless.

As a high school student in Queens, Ms. Trump writes, Donald Trump paid someone to take a precollegiate test, the SAT, on his behalf.

And she would know this how? She was born in 1965, Trump took his SAT before she was even born.

An AMAZING coincidence, that she comes up with this SAT cheating scandal in her book at the same time the current headlines are overflowing with the Felicity Huffman SAT cheating scandal.

“Has anyone heard of Trump being institutionalize?”

She’s probably referring to when Fred, Sr., sent him to military prep school. Using “institutionalized” is playing fast and loose with the language.
