I have lived in NYC and other cities, and loved them as a younger person.

I’m 62 now and have retirement property in rural Ohio and rural Florida. No need for cities any more. Hope the city fleeing people don’t ruin our places.

17 years ago I decided it was time to retire to a quieter place. I left the big city and moved to Aiken County, SC. Love it here. Cost of living is less. Pace of life is slower. People are friendlier. Taxes are way lower. Weather is lots better. Positives vastly outnumber the few meager negatives.

I can always ‘move’ to Atlanta (3 hours away) for a week if I want to taste big city life again (that’s a joke).

.

Some leftist burgs like San Fran Shithole will make very nice prisons to dump all the leftist traitors in once the wall is built across the peninsula and the automated machineguns are installed.

Large cities have been losing population by the millions for 50 years. Families with children saw the declining opportunities for education and work and began fleeing the cities in the 1960s. The current thug culture and the acquiescence of politicians to that thug culture will accelerate the exodus from cities.

I expect when it’s all done, cities will look something like a combination of Mad Max and Sherman’s march to the sea. Good job, democrat leftist scum.

“The well off people that had been flocking to the cities in the past few decades are mostly liberals or leftists. Now they are heading to the burbs which will soon become liberal and leftist bastions as well.”

We moved from a liberal state to an area that voted 70% conservative. Last election that area voted 80% conservative. Guess our move had quite an influence.

As long as they learned lessons and don’t bring blue baggage.

We moved out of “big cities” over 30 years ago(New Orleans for about 30 years, then Houston for about 3 months, then engineering employment in “the middle of nowhere”). Towns of 2,000 and 6,000 are both 10 miles away, employer is 23 miles away(1 stop sign, no traffic). Thankful every day. Could not have had a better place to raise our children.

PS: rattlesnakes, coyotes, cows, wild hogs, packs of raccoons, possums, and armadillos are much easier to deal with compared to roving packs of 2-legged politically-protected animals. Being able to target practice anywhere including right off our deck is a bonus.

It’s called the Diversity Tax. Higher rents in nicer part of town? Blame the Diversity Tax.

6% of the population of the entire city. In just 4 months. That’s unheard of.

There are lots of horror stories of Californians moving up to Idaho and possibly turning it Blue or Purple.

However, when the Antifa/BLM thugs showed up in Boise and Coeur D'Alene they were met by armies of gun-toting conservatives.

So there is hope that at least parts of the US will remain sane.

Got 55 acres of farmland far from any large city.

Large cities have saved the gop from leftist conquest via concentrating them in areas. Once leftist flock away from cities, even more game over.

These types use Amazon. Going out and about to stores, mingling with the common folks not like themselves is beneath them.

All that is going to happen is all those liberals and hipsters, that talk about how great it is not owning a car and being able to walk everywhere, will ruin the next place they move to.

Don’t believe me, take note of Boise, Id - Kalispel, Mont - Bozeman, Mont - Missoula, Mont.

As is widely known....They are human locusts that destroy everything in their path. Biggest question is, who replaces them when they move out of the cities. Can you imagine if all those liberals moved out of the city and headed to the Adirondacks, NW Jersey(which is absolutely gorgeous), eastern PA. No one to vill those voids, except for the 3rd world ugly the Left says they want, have compassion for....as long as none of it lives near them.

But, that’s exactly what they vote for. That is what they sow and reap.

They’re so warped in their thinking that voting for anyone, other than a Democrat, will bring on the end of their world. What has that type of thinking brought NYC, DeBlasio. And before that, Bloomberg, who started the decline slowly but surely.

Go to any liberal, hipster, upscale neighborhood in any city in the US. In Atlanta that would be the areas of Virginia Highlands, Morningside, Toco Hills, Druid Hills, Inman Park, City of Decatur. All of them about as white as they can be except for the few Indian doctors from Emory. Probably about 97% Democrat. They are the ones that bring us John Lewis, year after year after year.

For example....Find a moderate, if you can, in the bunch and they’ll push the button for even the most radical Leftist if that who the candidate is. Why? Because Orange Man Bad and all Republicans want to do is oppress people. As long as the local Dem party and leadership keep their neighborhoods as white as possible, nothing else matters.

🎶🎶
Green acres is the place to be
Socially distant is the life for me
Plagues spreadin' out so far and wide
Escape Manhattan, and run to that countryside

New York’s a place to stay away
You’ll get beat if the wrong thing you say
Let’s hope that you adore a jailhouse view
‘Cause darling they’ll be coming to arrest you.

Dada da DA da
The spores
Dada da DA da
Loot stores
Dada da DA da
The glares
Dada da DA da
Beware

Run for your life
Good bye, city strife
Green acres we are there

In my area; the Dems don’t even bother to field anyone for some of the elected offices!
