Jerry Rice among others, Mostly Rice is who made Montana great.
Did Montana never play KC in one of many 49er super bowl years?

Well I meant the current Kansas City team. You know one of those imaginary contests :-)
does she put all of the information into a computer and see who would win :-)
And it would be worthless LOL

I am a Rams fan who suffered through many years of being beaten by Joe Montana. Rice is the GOAT, but Joe Montana was as good as anybody I have seen at finesse (as opposed to sheer physical toughness) in the pocket to avoid the pass rush and make the play. Jerry Rice could not do that for him. Rice was great because he was ALWAYS open, even when double teamed, and never dropped anything.

Umm when adding injuries when they played together (8 years, Fall of 85-92), Montana only played around 25% of his career with Rice and keep in mind, Montana had two Super Bowls and 3 Pro Bowls before he threw one pass to Rice in the NFL. This is coming from a Cowboys fan btw.
