There is much we dont understand about the Chinese coronavirus. This includes public health experts, like the basketball player and scarf queen, as well as elected officials and nonelected bureaucrats. One hopes they are recommending and acting based on a desire to do good and an avoidance of harm.
Yet looking beyond cable news sound bites, the motives of many are sinister and in service to their political agenda rather than the public good. Looking back at how COVID events unfolded this year, one can reasonably conclude that reactions to the virus are more about politics and an upcoming election than a viral pandemic. The DNC media is cheerleading any and all bad news while they bury good news such as the success of hydroxychloroquine in cutting the death rate from COVID in half.
Infection data is of utmost importance in guiding decisions about stay-at-home orders, masks, businesses opening and Americans peacefully assembling. Case fatality rates and R-naughts are more of interest to epidemiologists and dont lend themselves to newspaper headlines and cable news banners.
Recall in April during the peak of the Wuhan virus pandemic how Fox News constantly ran a sidebar showing death totals. Total cases were less important at that time as few could get tested.
At that time, testing for active disease was limited primarily to those admitted to the hospital. Antibody testing was not yet available. Today virtually anyone can get tested at a commercial laboratory for either antigen (active disease) or antibody (previous disease).

The author is right, so he must be a far Right white supremacist who advances conspiracy theories to help wicked Republicans oppress black folks in particular, and ‘progressives’ in general.
Isn’t that obvious? Hmm...
Written by an actual doctor. A brave one. Pray he doesn’t get backlash.
I didn’t realize those who tested for the antibodies was categorized as a new case. That’s why I have been harping on the “recovered” cases. Such a person should be added to the number number of recovered cases, not “new”.
Now we know, that was all an illusion.
The state governors can rule us by "executive order", as emperors and tyrants. The President sends tweets, but nothing puts a stop to the state tyranny.
When our rights are violated by the states, the Federal government does nothing. Oh, Barr threatens that he is "watching" events, along with army of "investigators", but nothing is ever done. Mayors and governors can violate our rights at will, and even conservatives scream that the Federal government "shouldn't get involved."
The Constitution has no bearing on any of this. When taken to the courts, they rule that our First Amendment rights have no meaning. Governors can outlaw church services, and even singing (as Newsom just "declared"), and we are powerless to do anything. Abortion mills, weed shops, and liquor stores have more rights than church congregations and pastors.
We can be bullied and order to wear muzzle masks by the states, and no one from the Federal government puts a stop to it, or even formally objects.
Our children are tormented, along with those with medical conditions, and no one comes to our aid. Workers who desperately need a paycheck are forced to wear the slave mask for 8, 10, or even 12 hours a day, and those who declare it all bunk are thrown off social media, or fired from their jobs.
We will in the "New Normal", and the powers that be will never give us back our freedoms. We will all be forced to comply with the next demand, and then the next.
Our current condition of virtual enslavement took only a matter of weeks and months. In a couple of years, we will most likely look back at today's status quo as the "good old days", because the path we are on signals that things will get progressively worse.
It reminds me of the line from "Pirates of the Caribbean" where Capt. Barbosa says, "the Pirate's Code is more of a guideline than a set of hard and fast rules."
Proof. DemonicRAT Governors are imploring President Trump to issue a national "wear a mask" in order to force recalcitrant Governors who have not done so in their states to do so.
But, if President Trump were to issue a national "do NOT wear" order, those same damn Governors would defy the order. Thereby exposing the whole thing as a ruse.
All true. I agree. Still, we would all applaud President Trump if he were to issue an order against the masks and stood up for our freedoms. Just my observation, but the president seems paralyzed and refuses to take any action where he might be blamed for causing more COVID deaths or infections. Barr wont lift a finger either.
Were on our own.
Dr. Zelenko, a NY doctor whose team has treated 2200 infected Chinese virus patients. Only two of those patients have died, one had cancer and was on chemo, the second was very elderly and very sick when he started the drug treatment combination.
If you watch the whole presentation on Rudy Giuliani's PODCAST or YOUTUBE channel, you will see that Zelinko uses Trump's malaria drug, Zinc and a drug to fight secondary infections.
Rudy had two friends who were infected. When they visited other doctors, the patient showing symptoms was tested, the results were sent out and two to three days later, the patient was told of the test results!
That two to three day wait is KILLING patients unnecessarily. Zelenko starts treating patients as soon as they report to him. He tests them but instead of sending them home for the virus to have more time to attack it's host, Zelinko gives them the malaria drug combination with the goal of keeping them out of the hospital.
Watch for Dr. Fauxi to attack this information as anecdotal. We must do testing to determine if HCQ is safe and effective! Until testing determines efficacy, Fauci will be in favor of letting people die rather than give them the Trump malaria drug combo. I will NOT place the sarcasm tag here.
This guy's being disingenuous.
Texas HHS states prominently on their website: Probable cases are not included in the total case numbers.
The author's trying to deceive you into thinking the case rate's being inflated by a factor of 17.
Why would he do that? Why would an author so disrespect the intelligence of his readers?
Ah, perhaps the pay-per-click model of American Thinker.
Ping!
