Here’s the other thing, and maybe I’m crazy, but the minute anyone tries to make something mandatory, that’s when I get really suspicious. I start asking questions like who wants this compulsory and what do they benefit from it? Sometimes the answer is perfectly reasonable and it makes sense, but if something smells wrong, 9 times out of 10 there’s something bigger going on, especially when they want to force it on me “for my good.” I just know too much about human nature, and humans are overwhelming selfish. They are usually looking out for their own good.
Yes - as I wrote elsewhere, people who get vaccines are “cured” but these people usually fret about the unvaccinated lot. But why? - you’re “saved” and these unvaccinated people aren’t of any potential harm to you. Let them get sick if they want. Yea, yea, I get it...they can infect “the community” but a) one man’s negative externality is another man’s positive externality, and b) who made the vaccinated group the Lone Ranger of immunodeficiency?
