A predominantly Black group of heavily armed protesters marched through Stone Mountain Park near Atlanta on Saturday, calling for removal of the giant Confederate rock carving at the site that civil rights activists consider a monument to racism.
Video footage of the Independence Day rally posted on social media showed scores of demonstrators dressed in black - many in paramilitary-style clothing and all wearing face scarves - quietly parading several abreast down a sidewalk at the park.
Many of the protesters carried rifles, including military-type weapons, and some wore ammunition belts slung over their shoulders. Although African Americans appeared to account for the vast majority of the marchers, protesters of various races, men and women alike, were among the group.
One video clip showed a leader of the demonstrators, who was not identified, shouting into a loudspeaker in a challenge to white supremacists who historically have used Stone Mountain as a rallying spot of their own.
“I don’t see no white militia,” he declared. “We’re here. Where ... you at? We’re in your house. Let’s go.”

They still can’t command the English language after hundreds of years
A good amount of them had airsoft assault rifle copies of machine guns (HK G36, FAMAS) while others had AR-15 with no scopes. Others were clearly holding it their long rifles/shotguns for the first time.
The leader was also an entertainment promoter, so he probably was given money to purchase a lot of gear and walk around. The video of him yelling at some white guy in a van while awkwardly trying to hold on TO TWO AR-15s AT ONCE was pretty funny.
Also, many had cheap plate holder tac gear with no plates. I’m sure the good thing is a lot of the fatties sweat off a few pounds.
Were they breaking any laws? Apparently not. If not, they are allowed to protest peacefully as it seems they did.

Sounds they they still believe 13% of the population (what % of that 13% is willing to risk open war?) will defeat the other 80% or so population. They don’t remember all of the retired veterans who put their lives on line once before to defend this Republic and will do so again.

There were only a few people in that crowd who weren't lard-asses or who looked like their feet weren't killing them just from the short walk from their cars. Most of them were old and worn-out looking except for a few who looked like ex-cons who had been lifting weights in the yard.

A key event was when they cleared Lafayette Park of the anarchist Terrorists - the media went crazy and said all the generals are against him using the military to do so ; which of course he did not
The media and the left are absolutely desperate and getting more desperate every day and the most important thing to do is to just allow them to do their desperate stupid things like spray paint graffiti all over court buildings and don’t take the bait
Trump laid it all out and his wonderful speech last night and the night before and the media does not know how to handle him or his direct way of defending America are virtues and the great people that have come in built this country

Stone Mountain is a town with a large AA population (73%+).
Were any laws broken? Is open carry legal in Georgia and were they in a prohibited area? While I am not a fan of gun free zones the law should apply equally.
Unless this kind of behavior is stopped it will not end well. I doubt if all those carrying firearms are legally doing so. Felons, illegals, domestic assault etc make you illegal to be armed.... you know like if you can’t pass a background check to purchase a firearm. If one is found to be illegal in possession, the next question is who bought it for you or who gave it to you and OH.... lets run the numbers on the firearm. Lock em up. If ATF showed up it would nothing but combat boots and elbow pad.
Except these ignorant cretins are threatening America. They wish to burn the country down...being ‘armed’ has nothing to do with exercising their 2nd amendment rights, it’s all about terrorizing and threatening.

I used to live about 45 minutes away from Stone Mountain and I personally know of a group of several hundred gun club members who are heavily armed, actually practice with their weapons and would cut those clowns to pieces if it ever came down to a fight. Talk is cheap.
