Parents of white children in that area should be aware of the racist hate found in too many blacks of that same city.

I had no idea that Cape Girardeau had that element to it. The only thing I knoew of it is that it is Rush Limbaugh's original home town.

That area changed for the worse when they built the new bridge. The old bridge used to flow right by downtown.

Cape Girardeau has a black population of about 13%. As in many places the crime rate in the black part of town is much higher than other places. Violent crimes in that part of town rarely get solved, because,...well you know.

I seriously doubt that the new bridge or the casino have anything to do conditions downtown. Perfectly safe during the day, a little sketchy very late at night when drunks are out and about.

It’s worth noting that it was black people who came to the kid’s aid—but I still have to wonder where the kid’s parents were.
