I ordered my seeds early this year as I learned some time ago that if I waited, I was not likely to get what I wanted, it would usually be sold out.

We have recently moved to NH and are very quickly finding new, local sources for food.

I also have a decent sized garden that does need more work than I can put into it now, but I have new asparagus plants in, the tomatoes are doing OK, the potatoes are doing very well, and the onions loook to be doing well.

I think we have a source for good beef and need to check that out. I’ll also have to figure out what to do for the pressure canning. We need to put in propane. The electric stove that came with the house is a glass cooktop and I hate it.

I had one of those flat top stoves-hated it. I don’t mind a regular electric, but I was happy to replace that flat top.

Our backup cooking sources are:

2 fireplaces
Rocket Stove
Coleman 2 burner stove
fire pit
portable BBQ grill
Solar oven
Sterno Stove-when electricity goes off-this is the go-to for coffee, soup etc.

We want to get a smoker and new BBQ grill-maybe propane or maybe a combo propane/smoker
