Recent polls indicate that former vice president Joe Biden has a significant lead over President Trump. Democrat leaders are holding their self-confidence in check as they recall the horror (to them) of 2016. Likewise, the horrors of the last few weeks will not be forgotten by the voters in November.
The marathon campaign for the presidency will soon kick up a notch or two. Current polling data is as meaningful today as it was in 2016. Trump’s star will rise before November, in part due to these three impactful factors, which are primarily favorable to President Trump.
The Democrats have yet to tell Joe Biden who his VP candidate is going to be. In an early campaign blunder Biden declared a preference for a black female, thus limiting the DNC’s options. This is not intended to be a detailed analysis of the potential nominees, but rather an overview, as to why the decision on his running mate will work to Trump’s advantage.
First, consider the DNC wants to fulfill Biden’s desire for a black female VP nominee. The current BLM situation makes that choice a near certainty.
Speculation is strong that Biden will not last the full four years of his potential presidency. His fading mental acuity, deeply troubling to many, adds to this uncertainty. This elevates the significance of the VP candidate in a fashion rarely seen in a presidential campaign. But the impact on election outcome of any individual running mate, has been limited. Hillary Clinton did not lose because she picked Tim Kaine and John McCain lost on his own merits, not those of Sarah Palin.

Why is “fading mental acuity” mentioned in every article about Biden as though it was his biggest sin? It isn’t. His very real acting out in public a perversion for young girls is. Plus the enrichment of his son by the Ukrainian mob in response to his blackmailing them while he was VP. Why are all the media articles consistent on failing to call attention to Biden’s blatant moral and financial depravity, the kind of criminality which would derail almost any other candidate for public office? Why is this POS getting a pass on this stuff from almost every corner? This boggles the mind. The man is a monster. Forget about fading mental acuity—that’s a BS issue.

The media polls of 2016, did not find (or even look for) Trump voters. What’s different now? There’s one “poll” IMHO that tells more than any other poll. Gun sales... they’re booming (pun intended). They’re telling us the true mood and real concerns of the people. The Democrats will throw you to the “woke” mob they won’t protect you or your property. Dystopia ahead! If he pounds that reality home, how’s that not advantage Trump?

Joe Biden will be 78 on Inauguration Day 2021, and even now at 77 doesn’t have the demeanor which people of a certain age remember. He has long since admitted to not aspiring to two terms.

It’s normal for a “generic” candidate to do better against an incumbent than an actual person. People are able to imbue that imaginary person with the qualities they desire.

I heard last night that FOX is going to broadcast Trump’s event at Mount Rushmore tonight starting at 7 or 8 pm. My bet is that it will be watched by millions on TV and millions more online, maybe even surpassing the number of viewers he had for his Tulsa rally. With the unemployment rate dropping, the collapse of CHOP, and the so-called Black Lies Matter “movement” devolving into nothing more than chaos and violence fueled by white radicals, and the growing resistance being mounted by ordinary people, the Mount Rushmore event will drive his numbers up at least a fiw percentage points.
Either there will be debates, and Biden’s changed demeanor will be on national TV - or else there won’t be, and “Hidin’ Biden” will be the issue. Along with photos of a younger Biden and younger Trump contrasted, to a greater degree in the former than the latter case, with 2020 photos of both.It’s still hard for me to credit that the Biden we see, aged 77, will be on the ticket in November.
Trump is likable and entertaining and everyone knows someone effected by dementia and it is terrifying. The Democrats lack common sense.
At this point of the 2016 campaign, I was getting polled AT LEAST once a week, sometimes more.
I hae NOT been polled at all so far in 2020.
The Dems are polling Dems-—not a broad spectrum of voters.
