Neighbors Sign Letter Condemning St. Louis Gun-Bearing Couple
Nearly three dozen residents have signed the letter
After a St. Louis couple wielded guns from their front yard at a Black Lives Matter protest, dozens of neighbors sign a letter condeming [sic] their actions.
...
Since the incident, around three dozen neighbors who live on Westermoreland Place, where the McCloskey's also dwell, have signed a letter condemning the actions of the couple.
The letter explains that Westermore Place and the adjoining street Portland Place are historic neighborhoods with the City of St. Louis representing many walks of life.
"As the undersigned, we condemn the behavior of anyone who uses threats of violence, especially through the brandishing of firearms, to disrupt peaceful protest, whether it be in this neighborhood or anywhere in the United States," the letter reads.
The residents wrote that they seek positive action and constructive dialogue to build a civil society.

Is there no one; no neighbor; no FRiend; no relative; who will stand with the McCloskeys?
Are there any sane people left?
"Peaceful protest" my arse.. Here's what the peaceful protesters did to the McCloskey's front gate:
Counter by posting signs at the neibors’ gates declaring such homes as Gun Free Zones.
Wasn’t it Vladimir Lenin who said: “The purpose of terrorism is to terrorize.”
A couple of people praying at the statue of St. Louis IX, King of France, were attacked by “peaceful” BLM protesters the other day. They called the police six times and no cops responded. I’m guessing if things had gone south in this neighborhood, they wouldn’t have shown up either. I don’t know who is making that decision, but the message is clear that people are on their own.
“City of St. Louis representing many walks of life.”
Except one.
And if they have money, take a low ball offer from a local rapper.
....... Do these people realize that the couple was actually threatened at gunpoint??? There were a few people in the crowd that were armed .... And one actually had a rifle pointed right at the Mrs. McCloskey ..... There is at least one photo showing the event with an AR type rifle pointing right at that the lady’s head as she is pointing her handgun back at the person with the weapon..... As usual ... The media is ignoring this fact and portraying the McCloskeys as a couple of crazies ....
LoL take me! take me!
private, gated community of limousine liberals
A unabomber shack out in the woods is looking better evey day.
Go through my private neighborhood and end-up face down on the ground waiting for a cop.
That's not a half bad idea!
Another option would be a sign that says..
"My neighbors believe trespassing is a 1st amendment protected right."
BLM mob broke through the gate. A group of a hundred marched down the street shouting “eat the rich” and “burn it down”. Note that this is a group that has been burning things down all month.
Then two members of the group approach the couple’s home, either scouting to loot or burn. Couple comes out with guns. They say leave, this is private property. Mob starts screaming at them, threatening to kill their dog, probably threatening to kill them.
Those guns are all that saved them from a liberal lynch mob.
Media headlines seem to be leaving out some context about armed St. Louis couple guarding their home as peaceful protesters were passing by

These pathetic virtue-signaling liberal idiots should make sure they put lots of “Hate has no home here” signs up in front of their expensive well maintained dwellings.
This will save the next batch of “peaceful protesters” from having to bring skateboards to beat them with.
Of course the neighbors signed a letter. They're afraid of what would happen if they didn't. They're trying to appease the mob.
Who the hell cares what the neighbors have to say not when it comes to defending your property or yourself.
They can allow these terrorist to destroy their property but that’s their decision.
They can mind their own business.
Their revolution continues...
My neighbors don’t call 911, and gunshots are not uncommon at all hours.
