I don’t “mask shame” and I don’t shame those not wearing masks.
We are adults. We don’t need to be lectured “frequently wash your hands—avoid touching your face—practice social distancing.”
I resent being told to wear a mask, but like you I won’t mask shame someone for choosing to wear one. There are people who are at elevated risk and are legitimately concerned.
