Upstate NY...My friend was just over at Walmart...They were taking Aunt Jemima Pancake mix off the shelf and some ah was screaming the mix was just another example of racism and wouldn’t let my friend buy any.
I hope he bought it anyway.
Aunt Jemima was portrayed on the label as just a normal black woman. There wasn’t anything racist about it. Same with Uncle Ben. And there was no outrage and no demand to get rid of them either
