Actually, it seems she was arrested this morning in Bradford, New Hampshire and is due to apear in court later today. The case is United States v. Ghislaine Maxwell, SDNY 20 Cr 30. There is an 18-page, six-count indictment.

The previous case is over. The judge has no authority to direct the destruction of documents from any case. Unless a civil case involves trade secrets or other secrets related to the operation of a company, there is no way documents related to a civil action related to the Epstein can be “confidential”.
Attorneys should refuse to destroy the documents, or tell the judge the documents are securely stored in a safe at an undisclosed location. No way in hell would I destroy them.
