Yea, well I’m old school USMC trained. And my point still stands. I’ve got a bunch of 30 round PMags. But for precision work nothing beats a solid prone position.
And I’ve never seen a GI issue M4 with offset angled sights on it. Have you?

I’ve seen them in pictures from the Sandbox as well as hearing about them being there from friends over there (assuming they weren’t using them themselves, which some were).
As for the solid prone - friends still in the USMC have noted to me that a rifle on a GripPod bipod is even better than unbagged prone. The GripPod *has* been issued by the USMC - time and tech moves on.
Standard iron sights, the carry handle and the three point sling are leaving (or have left) the Corps. IMHO, not before time.
My eyes ain’t what they were back in the 80s and if I could afford a Trijicon I’d have two. Had to settle for the Aimpoints. They’ll do.
By the way I earned my 600 yard qualification a few weeks ago from our local Gun club. Put 3 out of 4 rounds on a 12 x 24 steel target with an out of the box Cabela’s deer season special. Set me back around $400 or so.
Did it in front of 3 witnesses. Club rules.

It seems that the folks in Idaho have it right. When you hear that black lives matters is coming to town grab all of your friends and your AR’s, lock and load, and go meet them.
I don’t like being threatened and I’m never hard to find.
Law and order.

Madison’s radical leaders had jettisoned the police and turned over the streets to thugs like Devorene who, under the guise of social justice, is accused of acting like a bandit.
The mobs chant, “No justice, no peace”. They’re right. There will be no peace, until there is justice. And there will be no peace or justice until the thugs terrorizing cities are back in prison.
He won’t ever get out. His 20 year sentence will accumulate more time when he screws up in prison. He’s a loser. It’s inevitable.
