No, there is a solution. It’s just not in some last-minute-before-the-election symbolic action. As I said, it’s way too late to get anything done until at least next year. Politicians & bureaucrats will slow anything to a crawl, at best.
Like I sez, this was a problem (social media screwing non-Dems and non-leftists) even before Trump was elected, the ball should have started rolling within a few month - at latest - after he took office.

I’d go the “fireside chat” route, not the long rambling unfocused forays that the health updates were. Relatively short & sweet and focused, making bullet points. Reagan would ace it.
