I have to go to town tomorrow will probably get it. I may ask if they have it in .243. The 30-06 is a fine cartridge but I have arthritis in my shoulder.

It’s wearing me out.
We have a line from open to close.
The only reason we haven’t sold more is lack of inventory.

I bought four of them, using my stimulus money. Two Mossbergs and two pistols.

Bought another Mossberg in May.

catnipman, you might be right but I share the concern. Not all radical leftists are felons (although being a radical leftist should be considered treason IMO). I don’t think we should take a chance at underestimating what the other side might be up to. Seems quite possible they’ve been stocking up on arms all along while calling for gun control.

Hope for the best, plan for the worst.

Thomas

Amazing. Democrats continue to pump up the industry with threats to disarm everyone. Plan some time to find out where your neighbors stand and otherwise get the message out. Have some courage! Speak! We need President Trump in office for another four years. It’s make or break time.

How many of you realize that it’s possible for the Democrats to take both houses of Congress and the presidency? And they’ll do everything that they can get away with, which is everything!

Get to work! Wear your statements in favor of our freedoms and economic potential proudly and fearlessly! Be positive.

In my little neck of the woods, 3 conservative people who have never owned guns before have just purchased a total of 4 handguns.

I am taking conservative 2 women I know shooting this weekend to help them decide on what handguns to buy.

The only reason we haven’t sold more is lack of inventory.

I should think so, given the state of online sources. Lots of sporting stuff available - target pistols, bird guns, traditional hunter's fare - but anything with a whiff of defensive purpose or tactical use is very scarce.

A business associate of mine called me today and our conversation drifted to current events. He mentioned that he was looking for two of those relatively new Mossberg 590M shotguns... the ones with the detachable box magazines. I looked online this evening and finally found a shop near him that listed the model in stock - at a price marked-up about $250 above MSRP. Not really that bad of a Preparation Failure Tax, to be honest.

Axis and 110 look very similar but the receivers and pitch of the barrel nuts are different. If you are looking to swap barrels with savage prefits the Axis will not accept 110 prefits. Something to think about that’s why the Axis models are under $200 and the 110s are double that. I have three 110s 300WM, 270 wt 1:7 fast twist and 7RM 1:8 all in 26” pacnor with M24 contours the adjustable trigger on the 110FV action is like butter.

Thanks for the info. I will probably just sight it in and keep it ready. May not even use it but would like to have a high powered rifle again

I presently only have a Swedish Mauser and 98 Mauser. I do have a lot of ammo for the Swede. I am getting old enough that open sights are not as clear as they once were.

What is the point of a mag fed shotgun which you have to pump?

Look at the Lynx 12. A Chinese made semi auto built on the AK platform.

The 590M is a joke IMO. Doesn’t even take Saiga mags. Uses proprietary Mossberg mags which are very expensive.

I agree, the Mossberg and Remington shotguns featuring detachable box magazines are trying to steal a bit of the "tactical" appeal of the Saiga. Well, that, plus they're responding to some cheap imported detachable-mag shotguns (that otherwise looked like Mossberg or Remington clones) imported a few years earlier from Turkey or wherever.

I like the Saiga 12 and the other AK-based shotguns, but I still don't much care for the loaded weight of a box magazine for any of these shotgun designs. Maybe small-bore stuff would work well (and I think the initial efforts by Saiga were in .410 bore), but 12 gauge? Naah, I'll stick with the traditional boomstick.

For crying out loud, if you love America and want to keep it, buy an AR. All other advice is stupid.
