Tucker Carlson Tonight is the Highest Rated Cable Television Show of All Time
Big League Politics ^ | 06/30/2020 | Richard Moorhead

Posted on 06/30/2020 9:41:50 PM PDT by Kevin in California

Fox News’ Tucker Carlson achieved the highest ever ratings for a cable television program in the second quarter of 2020, receiving an average of 4.331 million nightly viewers for Tucker Carlson Tonight.

Fox News itself continue to crush its liberal media competitors, achieving an an average viewership of 3.574 million viewers. MSNBC and CNN lagged far behind with 1.999 million and 1.806 million.

Sean Hannity came in a close second place behind Tucker, receiving 4.311 million nightly viewers. Both primetime hosts are generally unafraid to confront the pervasive left-wing cultural authoritarian pervading through nearly every major American institution and media outlet.

Tucker is becoming too popular and is much more serious than Sean. It wouldn’t surprise me if he is suddenly “me-too’d” as Ed Henry was recently

Except there has been ZERO occurrences of any sexual misconduct whatsoever to do with Tucker Carlson. Unlike Ed Henry.
You should be ashamed of yourself. Go troll elsewhere.

But I sure as hell can let others know about Tucker and his forked tongue.

No it isn’t.

Trust is what the victims of propaganda have in sources, like Tucker, put in place by the propagandists.

Because Trump isn’t tired. Look at him.

How does Tucker presume to make what sounds like a clinical assessment of Trump?

Hmmmm?

“The BLM/Antifa trolls are out in full force against Tucker as usual.”

I think this is a fabricated conflict staged by Tucker’s deep state handlers.

The Marxists work behind the scenes, establishing “trusted sources” to separate Trump from his supporters.

Hence Tucker Carlson.

Tucker claims to be strongly pro Trump.

But I don’t believe he is.

If he were pro Trump, why would he say Trump is too tired and incompetent, and that Trump doesn’t understand politics?

These areas of brain function are actually Trump’s greatest strengths. This is why the deep state communists are attacking them.

If he’s working for the deep state, Tucker’s job is safe.

(For now.)

Good question. The article doesn’t specify

The article is as clear as daylight and very specific:

Tucker Carlson Tonight is the Highest Rated Cable Television Show of All Time

Fox News’ Tucker Carlson achieved the highest ever ratings for a cable television program in the second quarter of 2020, receiving an average of 4.331 million nightly viewers for Tucker Carlson Tonight. “

Its the highest rated program of any kind on cable television for a quarter. Period.

It doesn’t take much effort to put Tucker under a microscope.

Go back and read what I said about him in this thread, post # 73 and in post # 72, which has the relevant video of Tucker’s comments.

Tucker is as deep state as Trump himself.
No one is more anti deep state than Tucker Carlson.
You are going to need to stop being a paid troll on this one. You are getting nowhere with this.

Sorry, Tucker has some good qualities but the truth is NO ONE still working at Fox is anti-deep state

Every one of them trots out their favorite regular liberal guest. That's how they keep their jobs.

The liberals spewing their bile on Tucker will get an "I agree with that" from Tucker every time.

He did it just the other night when his guest professor stated the problem with what's happening is the result of corruption in both parties

IOW, it's the standard liberal excuse "they all do it" and Tucker openly agreed, even though he didn't have to.

Fox has been pretty good about that sort of thing actually. Every single person they have dismissed for sexual misconduct has been really guilty, from Bill O’Reilly who was guilty several times to Roger Ailes who was also guilty of using his powerful position to try and have sex with female employees.
Tucker just doesn't strike me as the type at all.
And I know a thing or two about that sort of thing.
I wonder if you saw Tucker on “Dancing with Stars” a few years back. The guy is totally wet behind the ears when it comes to women. The female professional dancer he was paired with couldn't help laughing at him for his clumsiness and total lack of awareness of the subtle nuances of the female ody.
If any such scandal ever comes out about Tucker, my belief in human nature will be very severely shaken.

Yeah?
So Hannity who worked in construction then in talk radio and has never even come close to working for the government is a deep state operative huh?
Just how do you work that?

Tucker has gotten a lot better since he ditched the bow tie. He's much better on his feet than back when he was doing Crossfire - much better too than the more experienced Sean Hannity, whom I like, but he is just too tedious and repetitive.

Tucker has become a powerful voice for how Republicans should fight. I appreciate him holding putative Republicans like Mike Braun to account. But I don't put it past democrats to convince some woman to make an allegation in an effort to silence him. Tucker should be ready, no doubt he is.

Every one of them trots out their favorite regular liberal guest. That's how they keep their jobs.

Actually I don't want a host who only brings on guests who agree with them.
Tucker brought on some very rich guy from Wall Street (I forget his name), who has made serious money from China and totally defends China and then proceeded to patiently take him apart. That was about three months ago.
Just two days ago, he brought in that GOP US Senator who supports BLM and reduced him to jelly
It's absolutely necessary that conservative hosts bring in leftist guests so they can debate the issues. Would you watch a program where every single guest agrees with the host?
