Good to point this out, but this is exactly what the CDC and others have been telling us for a while now. The media just chose not to really report on it. The Case Fatality Rate was 5.7%. However, the CDC told us a month ago that the actual Infection Fatality Rate had a lower bound of 0.26% (http://freerepublic.com/focus/f-chat/3848180/posts) and Johns Hopkins told us the likely IFR is somewhere between 0.5% and 1% (http://freerepublic.com/focus/f-news/3855890/posts).
All that came out at the end of May. The media ignored it, because it’s not as exciting to cover and it makes the whole story less exciting, but we’ve known that for a long time. That said, it’s still serious. Even if we assume a very low herd immunity value (let’s say 50%, which is extremely low given how contagious this has proven to be), that means 165 million Americans eventually get it (without a vaccine). 0.26% of 165 million is 429,000. The Johns Hopkins 1% of 165 million would be 1.65 million. This is why President Trump is pushing so hard for the vaccine. Without it, we’re set to lose a whole lot more people by the end of this thing.

The President is not pushing “so hard” for a vaccine. It is easy to find him saying a vaccine is expected but he’s not pushing it, he is merely repeating the reports made to him by minions of the Vaccine Lobby. If certain lobbyists push him to sign off on a “Warp Speed” schedule of vaccine approval, he will sign off but he will not promote it.
He is appeasing the Vaccine Lobby by not standing in their way. But importantly he is not allowing them to destroy their therapeutic competition.
The President is instead pushing therapeutics. And when he does, the fake news players go apoplectic on behalf of their Vaccine Lobby masters.
Trillions are at stake for the Vaccine Lobby. This lobby has invested heavily in fake science promotions and fake science news smear operations.
The recent Lancet retraction revealing scientific misconduct manufacturing fake data is an example of blocking fraudulent fake science efforts of the Vaccine Lobby.
We live in a time of scientific deceit. Science has been politicized.
There are effective safe therapeutic agents used in successful COVID-19 prophylaxis. Vaccines are not necessary. Why haven’t you heard this? For the same reason you didn’t hear Stormy Daniels admit she lied, for the same reason you didn’t hear hundreds of things that favor President Trump. You and many others didn’t hear this because the syndicated news is censoring information that runs counter to their agenda.
Example misinformation:
“A study/trial of COVID therapeutic agent ‘T’ shows it fails to prevent COVID-19.”
Reality:
* Therapeutic T failed to prevent infections by SARS-COV-2 (TRUE).
An infection in this case means entry of the coronavirus into the body. This cannot be prevented unless suited heavily with clothes and masks designed to be 100% effective. Masks used by the public are inadequate.
The statement can be rewritten “Most everything can fail to prevent infections by SARS-COV-2” because the virus can almost always enter the body (infection) without impediment. The original statement is therefore devoid of useful information. It’s as valuable as saying “Rain penetrates a leaky roof.”
* Therapeutic T failed to prevent COVID-19 infections (FALSE).
Deceitful reporter replaces “SARS-COV-2” with “COVID-19” in the asterisked statement above and writes “T fails to prevent COVID-19 infections”. An infectious disease is not an infection, an infectious disease is a progression of an infection that impacts health. In this example (a true example), the deceitful reporter deliberately (or from ignorance) confuses SARS-COV-2 with COVID-19 conflating the virus with the disease. Contracting a virus does not mean a disease will result.
This is not semantics. This is a deliberate shading of words and meanings to push a harmful agenda.

* Bill Gates has become one of the most hated men on Earth. His Instagram account had comments of disgust aimed at him for hours coming in at a rate of several per second. Gates had an algorithm developed that would delete negative comments as fast as they were coming in. This is true (caught on several videos). Gates insulates himself from public backlash and has tools developed to censor comments that would cause awareness of his psychopathic tendencies.
* If President Trump attempts to delete Twitter comments that attack him or twist his statements into lies or otherwise spread false information, the President is sued and is ordered to let all comments stand.
* This pattern of deceit phenomenon carries over today into many science publications. This is shocking to scientists who have worked tirelessly with forthright diligence and integrity. Fake news agents have infiltrated into science publications and continued their deceit to making fake science reports. Peer review has been set aside in favor of ‘preprints’ which are then reported by fake news as ‘science’. This has evolved because the pandemic calls for warp speed on everything negating the need for peer review and accountability.
In pedestrian parlance, the above can be summarized “We are being rolled under cover of science”.
