I think Japan is the most hated...or was at least by the older generations. Nanking. Wouldn’t want to piss them off. They’ve had 75 years to recover and are a brilliant warrior nation to the core.

There’s nothing unique about Nanking in Oriental (or Western) warfare. The Chinese aren’t ticked off about its uniqueness - they’re het up because it was done to them.

The constant whining about Nanking is just a way to prepare the way for the future conquest of Japan. When China has pacified and annexed Japan, it will start harping on some of these other incidents as a pretext for other military operations. This kind of stuff isn’t unique to China either, but it comes at a time when, other than Russia, the principal powers financially and technologically able to acquire land by force (i.e. the West) have decided they’re no longer willing to do so - that armed conquest is immoral, now that they’ve gotten theirs (i.e. acquired the Americas and Australia).
