I was once told if we’re not careful, 2 percent of the passionate will control 98 percent of the indifferent 100 percent of the time.
The more I’ve thought about this phrase, the more I believe it. There is now a small group of passionate people working hard to destroy our American way of life. Treason and treachery are rampant and our rule of law and those law enforcement professionals who uphold our laws are under the gun more than at any time in our nation’s history. These passionate 2 percent appear to be winning.
Despite there being countless good people trying to come to grips with everything else on their plates, our silent majority (the indifferent) can no longer be silent.
If the United States wants to survive the onslaught of socialism, if we are to continue to enjoy self-government and the liberty of our hard-fought freedoms, we have to understand there are two opposing forces: One is the “children of light” and the other is the “children of darkness.”
As I recently wrote, the art and exercise of self-governance require active participation by every American. I wasn’t kidding! And voting is only part of that active participation. Time and again, the silent majority have been overwhelmed by the “audacity and resolve” of small, well-organized, passionate groups. Maybe, but I prefer the thread has the same article and includes actual comments. Perhaps you are trying to start a new rule. Freepers aren't allowed to read the article and in future they will not be allowed to read the comments. Would that make you happy?

As I see it, the “peaceful” protesters have had their way but sooner or later they will run into a bunch of 2nd Amendment supporters and they will quickly change their signs from “Defund to police’ to “Send the police”.

I read the whole thing, but like most articles of its type, it is long on observation that our nation and way of life are under assault by a tiny minority, but it is short on specific actions. Gen Flynn recommends:
1. the people “must challenge every politician at every level
2. the people must stand and support our law enforcement professionals.
3. now is the time to act
While we are still a republic of 50 states and each of those have a Constitutional government, the people of states and major cities are electing our enemies to Governorships and Mayoralties. Those elected governors and mayors would rather see their cities destroyed than Trump get re-elected.
The communist organizations that are using tech to amass useful idiots at hot spots need to be infiltrated, disrupted and their leaderships decapitated. The FBI infiltrated the Weather Underground in the 60s. Why aren’t BLM and antifa being similarly infiltrated and disrupted?
We are getting to the point where patriotic militias have to respond quickly and arrive at the next communist riot place places before they even get there. This seems to be the only avenue open at this juncture.

This opinion piece by General Flynn must be seen by every American patriot. It’s a call to action that we must heed or repeat the days of 1930’s Germany, IMO.

You missed the entire point of FR.
The only reason the noisy 2% have any clout at all is because people who control the levers of power find them useful. It’s not simply because they’re “passionate”.
