CHICAGO - Four children were among 65 people shot across Chicago this weekend, 18 of them fatally. Three of the children were killed.
The weekend gun violence brought Chicago past 300 homicides so far this year, the benchmark that Supt. David Brown challenged the police department to stay under in April. Last year, the city didn’t break 300 homicides until early August, according to Sun-Times data.

Four kids. There’s NEVER any satisfaction or “I told you so” in that.
I don’t care what happens to the adults that commit crimes and the adults that have allowed it. And yeah I do sometimes feel “i told you so”. That’s where the real violence on blacks is.
But children? That’s just always heartbreaking.
And STILL, folks don’t rally to stop it.

Does ANYONE get prosecuted and brought to trial for murder in Chicago??

The reason why Black-on-Black murders in Chicago are irrelevant is that they can’t be used by race baiters (and the suckers who fall for their shtick) to extort payment or other consideration from guilty Whites.
July 4th weekend will result in numbers that look like when we retook Fallujah in Nov of 2004.
Look at the trigger pullers and ask yourself “why?” Is there some internal defect?

I do not like seeing children being shot and killed. But gangbangers killing each other is ho hum news to me. You can come back to Chicago’s south side 100 years from now after all the picketing, statue rip downs, fake anguish in the streets and they will still be killing and gangbanging.
