I’m from Jackson. It’s a sad sight to see these days. When I was in high school and college, I used to see Farrakhanites handing out materials to black individuals only. Their goal was to take over, and they did. White folks ceded land easily. I moved away when I married. I don’t know of any of my childhood friends who live there now. It’s too dangerous. Well, that’s not true. I know some folks who live in country club areas. Everybody else moved out of the city. Is it racism to want to stay alive?

I’m an immigrant to the south, and I’m appalled at the casual erasing of its history. The Civil War confederate private didn’t fight to defend slavery; he fought to defend his home.
Slavery existed far longer under the Stars and Stripes than under the Confederate Battle Flag. The radicals won’t be happy until Old Glory is replaced with a combination rainbow/BLM flag.
