Trump, needs to make the speech, but he also needs the strong support of the Republicans, which he will not get. We are in a world in which the commitment of some people to hatred and evil is stronger than the commitment of others to the good.
Derek Hunter thinks that Trump needs to show leadership by making a speech. And then has all these nuances that have to be observed.
The only speech I think Trump needs to make is the one announcing all the arrests of the criminals destroying everything they can.
Nixon won in 68 making speeches on Law and Order, but he was not the incumbent. DemocRATs in those areas are derelict in their obligations, but Biden has no authority to take action-he’s not the President.
I really think people just want the destruction to stop and so far, the tweets haven’t succeeded in that, but at least POTUS has taken action in DC. He’s likely taken other action too, but we just don’t know about it—at least I hope he’s got the Feds in there nabbing the criminals.
Biden can’t stand up to the mob, he’s part and parcel of that mob. Matter of fact, he is their frontman. I have yet to see or hear a single democrat condemn the rioting, looting, vandalism, and arson.
