That is true. It’s amazing that figures like Lincoln and Churchill (currently hated by the British BLM), who were remarkable men, whether you agreed with them and their decisions all the time or not, can even have “enemies.” But this is a generation that more than any other seems to believe that history started with them.
They are “point zero,” the place where the world starts afresh.
