Unilever and Coca-Cola just let their own masks slip...

Does it matter much? Stocks will go back up. I cannot image Zuckerberg watching day-to-day stock prices that closely.

Umm, 8% in one day? Yeah, I'd say he noticed.

Advertisers don’t want to lose the millions of customers who spend their government handouts on their products.

I paraphrase will Rodgers. “Find a good stock. If it goes up sell it. If it doesn’t go up don’t buy it.”

THERE IS NO SUCH THING AS “HATE SPEECH” only FREE SPEECH!

Even yelling “FIRE” in a movie theater should be protected.

If someone on a boat said “JUMP” would you jump?

If someone yelled “FIRE” in a theater, I would ask, “where’s the SMOKE!” (or “where’s your mask?”)

Words are just “WORDS”! It is “ACTIONS” that need to be addressed. Like actually SETTING FIRE to buildings.

A person’s “words” can be “investigated”, they should not be BANNED.

Where do you “draw the line”? THERE IS NO LINE!

What companies aren’t Leftist these days.

The Left finally figured out a while back, “If you can’t beat ‘em, join ‘em”

A lot of low information voters get their news from social media, and if Unilever or Coca-Cola can demand that FB or Twitter or YouTube can officially brand the POTUS as a liar or purveyor of hate speech, we’re in a brave new world of controlled thought.

Yup. This is very dangerous. "Woke" companies need to get hammered into bankruptcy. Allowing them to dictate thought to Americans is very Gleichschaltung of them.

Twitter has 262 million users.

Facebook may claim to have 262 million users but they've already refunded advertisers for false "like" counts due to the number of dummy accounts.

They know that 500,000 switching to Parler is just the beginning. Just ask the folks at MySpace.

They know that 500,000 switching to Parler is just the beginning.

People keep claiming 500,000 people "switched". Opening an account at Parler isn't "switching". Very, very few people "switched" beyond those who were banned. They are just adding an ADDITIONAL social media service on top of Twitter, Facebook and Instagram. And I bet less than 100 of those "500,000" folks have a thousand followers. Parler needs celebrities, influencers and powerful people to post content that other people want to see. They need a hundred people with millions of followers and thousands of people with thousands of followers. They can't do that with a closed system, nor can they do it if they are only known for being an echo chamber for conservatives.

When Parler was unveiled, I downloaded it. Never wanted anything to do with Twitter. And still don’t.
I still have a FB page but only check it once or twice a year. Such a time sink if not careful. Hoping an alternative will arise for FB too.
