Wyoming Rep. Liz Cheney posted a photo of former Vice President Dick Cheney sporting a face mask on Friday and took a shot at the manhood of people who refuse to wear face coverings in a seeming jab at President Donald Trump.
Liz Cheney, the No. 3 House Republican, posted the photo her father as lawmakers push harder for their constituents to wear face masks to limit the spread of coronavirus. Trump has been loath to wear a mask, despite the advice of public health experts. "Dick Cheney says WEAR A MASK. #realmenwearmasks," the younger Cheney tweeted Friday along with a photo of her father wearing a mask.

I did not agree with all of President Bushes decisions or policies. But he was the right president at the time.
No he wasn’t. He responded to 9-11 by invading a country that had nothing to do with it, and blowing up the middle east in the process, the flames are still full-throttle today.
As Trump says, the Bush-Cheney invasion of Iraq was one of the most destructive foreign policy blunders in American history.
“But he was the right president at the time.”
Bush-Cheney: Endless destructive, multi-trillion-dollar “nation building” wars abroad, open borders at home. Utter destruction on both fronts. And those open borders have helped turn our biggest states into Democratic strongholds.
And it all ended with the biggest economic downturn since Herbert Hoover.
Bush-Cheney were one of the worst administrations in history and definitely the worst Republican administration.

I don’t disagree with you - what I wrote wasn’t a defense of the Bushes - George Bush Sr as VP was RR’s only mistake, and it was a doozy.
But however deserving of criticism Republican Presidents may be - our political system is binary whether we like it or not.
Republicans are our only way of defeating Democrats.
I am reminded of an old joke about two campers being chased by a grizzly bear.
As they are running, with the bear gaining on them, one camper says to the other. “I hope you realize that you can’t outrun a grizzly bear!”
The other camper replies: “I don’t need to outrun the grizzly bear, I just need to outrun you.”
Similarly, not all Republican Presidents need to measure up to Ronald Reagan or Donald Trump. Sometimes not being a Democrat is enough.
Rather than eight years of Obama? I would have gladly taken another Bush, a Romney, even a McCain.
Think of them as a placeholder while we wait for the next Reagan or the next Trump!
Republicans have a bad habit of eating their own. Republicans would make horrible football players. Republicans would probably pass to the other team’s wide receiver because he was more out in the clear.
You don’t see the Democrats making these mistakes.
But, given what we know today, how can we call the Bush family one of our own? I would not call any of them ‘conservative’ let alone ‘patriots’... Their self interests always came first... and they USED US and abused US in the furtherance of their self centered agenda.
Who was the last ‘president’ that donated their salary to good causes, and loved this nation above their own private interests? I have people I no longer have relationships with over the Bush family... I stood up for them, and only to find out I was the one standing ... The Bush family are a 1,000 points of dim bulbs, for their own twisted goals.
But if you hold Republicans to a higher standard than you hold Democrats to, what you get is - Democrats.
While you are withholding your support from the Republican that doesn’t measure up, the Democrats are voting the straight Democrat ticket no matter what.
So we get Democrats. It’s basic game theory.
You can’t vote only according to what you want - you need to vote according to what you want to avoid.
Republicans don’t get that - Democrats get it.
It will be our downfall.
It is now looking back, ‘hindsight’ I see a most deceptive creature using US in furtherance of his global agenda ... I will not vote for a Bush ever again. W Bush was and will always be a liberal, dressing himself into a ‘costume’ of those on the ‘right’.
Liz Cheney has no gravitas, but, using her father as a mannequin to get her standing....
The alternative was the lunatic lord McCain ... he was pure evil... Not much of a choice all things considered.
So who did you vote for in 2008 and 2012?

Nonsense. VA is now a blue state precisely because of polices supported by GOP Presidents. If you like California’s gun laws keep voting GOP because that is what you will get sooner or later. Most likely sooner.
