That's probably not an unexpected development, since the party has done almost nothing of consequence in the last 25 years when it actually DID have the power to get things done.
The thing that bothers me is I would have expected the polling orgs to take a hard look at why they got it so wrong in 16 and fixed it. They were damn close in 18. So I am not sure the solace we are taking in polls being the same as 16 is warranted. It is worth noting MSM is effectively rigging the election at this point. For example not one of the major Netwowrks even mentioned the rats killed the police reform bill in the Senate two days ago. I expect the DNC to kill or rig the debates. There is time for this to turn around but there is not much room for opitmism.
Big difference. People knew Hillary and now people know Trump. Ive been warning the same thing for a little while now. Trumps about to defeat himself if he cant get it together. He cant just run against Biden and expect to win. He needs a positive agenda and to be focused. Instead he comes off as thin skinned and desperate getting pulled into needless drama with the press.
We wouldnt expect differently of other Republican presidents, we need to hold Trump to the same standard. He rambled in his town hall with Hannity.
Who's the leader of the Republican party? Trump was on Hannity and asked what his priorities were for a second term. Great opportunity to outline what he stands for, and what the party stands for. Here is what he said:
Well said AC. GOP inaction is the biggest disappointment for me. They still don’t believe in our President.
