Judge Jeanine Pirro: Departure of NYPD commander a sign of frustration with 'feckless' leaders

'Morale is down, shootings are up.'

New York City police officers are becoming increasingly frustrated with the city's law enforcement policies, Fox News host Judge Jeanine Pirro said Friday on "Fox & Friends," as she pointed out the resignation of a precinct commander in the Bronx.

"It’s crazy, and you know, we are now going to see the reverse of the pendulum, where crime is going to go up and we will suffer the consequences of a feckless police department, not in terms of the cops, but in terms of the direction from the top," said the host of "Justice of with Judge Jeanine."

The New York Post reported that Deputy Inspector Richard Brea, of the Bronx’s 46th Precinct, will resign after nearly 30 years on the force in protest to the department's reforms and response to recent anti-police protests. Guardian Angels leader Curtis Sliwa told The Post that Brea quit out of frustration with top-level NYPD officials, who recently disbanded the force's plainclothes anti-crime unit.

Commissioner Dermot Shea said earlier this month that roughly 600 plainclothes officers from the anti-crime unit will be reassigned to other teams.

‘feckless’?

Well that seems like a mild assessment

Sounds like Judge Jeanine is trying to be polite.

That word has been overused for the past year or so. If you don’t like someone, they’re “feckless”.

If the NYPD has an anti-crime unit, what does the rest of the department do?

Can’t hardly blame him for resigning.....what’s being done in these reforms, (yet again), just keeps on favoring the bad guys and risking the life of officers who are walking into dangerous and high risk situations every day.

If the NYPD eliminates “anti-crime” from its mission, what will its new mission be? Probably enforcement of diktats from Gracie Mansion.

If you don’t like someone, they’re “feckless”.

So if you like someone they’re “feck”?

New York City police officers are becoming increasingly frustrated with the city's law enforcement policies...

At this point, I'd bet some are sticking around primarily for the pension.

Mayor DiFaggoto is the white David Dinkins. New York has devolved back into 1970s crime-ridden shitholery.

If you don’t like someone, they’re “feckless”. So if you like someone they’re “feck”?

Probably feckful.

Why would anyone want to be a cop these days?

Deal with the scum of the earth daily.

Stabbed in the back by the worthless bureaucrats and brass constantly.

Don’t get paid nearly enough.

And hey, every day could be your last.
