The idea that tens of millions of American voters are sitting on the fence, scratching their heads, pulling their chins, posing like The Thinker...
...trying to decide whether to vote for Trump or for Biden!
Sorry, but in today’s polarized political climate that’s not how things work.
There are zero 2016 Trump voters who are switching to Biden.
There are zero 2016 Hillary Clinton voters switching to Trump.
What this election will turn on is whether the DNC can get all the likely Democrat voters who stayed home in 2016 to come out and vote against Trump.
President Trump will do the same - try to appeal to the likely Republican voters who stayed home in 2016 to come out and vote for MAGA, and against socialism and mob rule.
In addition, both sides will court the “undecideds” - but let’s face it: there are not that many true “undecideds” and if they are undecided now, they are not likely to vote at all.
Obviously, this election is about President Trump - not Joe Biden. The DBC could have nominated porky pig and it wouldn’t matter... the idea is the get Democrats excited about voting against Trump.
The problem with that strategy is that it is negative - voting against someone is not as focused as voting for someone.
Think of it as target A and target B at a shooting range.
If there are ten skilled marksmen and five are instructed to hit target A, and
five are instructed to miss target A, we can predict that on average about half of the bullets fired will hit target A.
But how many bullets will hit target B? We have no idea because nobody was really aiming at it.
Nobody is really voting for Biden - just for and against Trump.
The DNC is basically telling it’s voters it doesn’t matter if they actually want Joe Biden as President - just vote for him to stop Trump.
That is like herding cats. It is extremely unpredictable and risky - and has been known to result in landslides for the incumbent. ‘72, ‘84.
Wrong. Trump has lost enough supporters to make Biden the favorite. They have Trump fatigue. His style is too combative for them.
Vote for Biden or we’ll shoot this Dog.

I was right as rain throughout 2016, and then since then I have been right about fifty times in a row, each time they said it was curtains for Trump, and I disagreed.
But this time I’m wrong...got it.
I think Trump isn’t being combative enough.
Do you ever hear ANYONE saying “so-and-so Democrat is too combative?”
No, you don’t.
People want winners. This is combat!
Turning to biden is the equivalent of jumping off a ship in a hurricane
He’ll keep them safe...make them all wear masks while they’re getting murdered by Marxist revolutionaries.
Many people, especially women, want the drama to stop and are willing to vote for Biden to stop it.
These polls are largely accurate. They match the political discussions I hear.
But if you want to keep believing we are on track for a 49 state landslide, that’s your prerogative. I don’t see it.
Agree - but I won’t second guess him - he seems to know what he’s doing.
If Trump were getting better results, then people won’t care about the “combative” side.
But between the lockdowns, and the economy due to the virus, and now the riots, the results haven’t been good lately.
It’s probably right that it will stop with Biden, at least on their side. The media will stop reporting it. It’s the perfect narrative against republicans too. They run and hide under the bed if the word racism is whispered. This is all about the election.
