indeed ... the number of nattering nabobs of negativism here is astonishing (and the amount of ignorance as well) ... i can’t tell if their negativity is genuine or is simply a matter of trolling to try to dispirit the few genuine conservative patriots that remain here ... the ignorance seems to be genuine, however ...
That’s just normal American conservatism.
It is influenced by the “survivalist” subculture that think civilizations going to crash any minute, and certain evangelical denominations that think every day is a signal of the “end times”.

Well they’re often quick to jump to conclusions creating their own misery and rarely are able to see the big picture...’Small’ thinking.... There’s a big difference between genuine concern and emotional reactions.
As for shoddy polls such as the CNN monstrosity and others, they’re relentlessly promoted in the media but the country has caught on to that media trick and is more skeptical than ever before of any poll results.
