It’s died down but it filled the TV screens for weeks.
“LAW AND ORDER” would be tweeted, and then more mayhem would be broadcast. Police were finding bricks and accelerants being staged in quiet middle-class neighborhoods.
Now they’ve moved on to statue destruction.
Best move IMHO would have been to begin the perp walks of college professors the morning after the first riot. They’ve been organizing ANTIFA on campus for years, and have done a lot of crowing about it online. They can provide training and material support and then sit back and watch the show from the safety of their ivory towers. If Trump had started hauling them off to jail things would have quieted much sooner.
Cutting off funds to the universities that tolerated that would have done a lot to quiet things too.
I’m hoping there is a lot of behind the scenes action taking place (like with antifa). Advertising the administration’s plan isn’t a good idea, imho. My biggest concern is massive voter fraud in November.
In his Town Hall with Tucker Carlson last night, the President said that “hundreds” of rioters have been arrested (I am assuming he is referring to those arrested on federal charges, not by catch-and-release local cops).
Perhaps there is more going on than we know. The media pushes its narrative, which is always anti-Trump. The reality may be different.
I wonder if Trump needs to push the idea harder that the dem leadership (Biden/Nanzi/Schumer) get their supporters under control and stop the destruction. According to the “polls” Trump is being blamed since he’s the president for the chaos. These are BLM, Antifa, thugs, aka Biden voters (if they even vote). Of course, the dems won’t touch it and they’ll accuse Trump of trying to stop peaceful protesters, but real Americans see what’s going on.
“...to begin the perp walks of college professors the morning after the first riot. ...”
I like the idea.
IOW “You guys started this, you guys get to PAY for it.”
