I agree, it’s way past time for action. But the alternative is unacceptable. Madison was trashed the other day, a dem senator was assaulted (look at me, I’m with your cause...epic fail) and the dem mayor and dem governor are clueless what to do.

The upshot is, President Trump letting the states handle it is eye opening for many people. The ineptitude of the democrats is on full display.

Yes but that tactic is allowing great fear to sweep the public. Rush Limbaugh is getting calls from Trump supporters who are afraid to put a yard sign out for fear their house will be firebombed. Ultimately it's creating the impression that Trump has lost control and people will start to gravitate to the alternative. Major tactical error IMHO.

“ The ineptitude of the democrats is on full display.”

And not a single suburban Karen (formerly soccer moms) will see that. Not one.

They will however hear over and over what a mean, bigoted racist Trump is and he’s why there are nooses everywhere...even in your backyard right now!

Inaction in the face of deliberate, programmed mayhem is never an option for an incumbent president - nevertheless one on an island by himself with no institutions or government apparatus supporting him. If you are going to go down, fire all of whatever ammo you have at the enemy before you are overrun.
