Videos that appeared on social media showed a major explosion outside Tehran, fueling speculation of an attack against a military base, a research site, or a power plant. Details remain a mystery so far.
Rumors initially said the explosion took place at a power station in Sarkh Hasar, east of Tehran, and that similar explosions took place in Shiraz, in southern Iran, prompting speculation of a cyber attack.
Another one?
I watched one of the videos and it seemed to me that it was a sequence of explosions, all very similar in size. That suggests something like a missile storage facility that had an accident (or sabotage) that started a chain of missile blasts.
Go Israel, go US...
Mossad?
Oh, that Israel.
Hee hee hee.
Bleve.
Yawn.
“She blowed up real good!”
At one point, it looked like the sun was up in the sky - the whole city was lit up.
The Wall Street Journal is reporting that it was at a Defense Ministry Site (Parchin), although the Iranian Government say it was an industrial gas tank in a “civilian” area of Parchin.
Looks like a really good strike, from the size of the fireball. Love to see the bomb damage assessment photos, now that the sun is up. I’d expect to see a series of those storage magazines neatly cratered.
The operation was designed to let them get really really close to that A bomb and then blow up the entire underground facility, probably including all the scientists.
Boy I bet that jerked the Ayatollah’s chain.
Who could it be???
