Obviously this is British, but what retired Chief Hurley says applies here as well. Met = Metropolitan London police. Short ~2m video well worth watching.

Whoa! The interviewer did not want to hear the truth, so he abruptly cuts the guy off.

I recently saw comments made by Denzel Washington regarding blacks in this country. He stressed the fact that black people must share the blame for their current situation and he specifically mentioned the lack of a father in many black homes.

I firmly believe that when a boy grows up without a father...a boy of *any* color,ethnicity,etc...he's at *very* serious risk of becoming either a worthless punk or a worthless nobody.Mothers...even the most loving and dedicated...are literally incapable of turning a boy into a decent, respectable man.

Are you talking specifically about single mothers in the black community or in general? I was raised by a single mother in the 80s when divorce was uncommon and despite some speed bumps, my brother and I have both persevered and become contributory members of society.

Were you raised in the inner city surrounded by gangs, drugs and joblessness?

Dr. Ben Carson was raised by a single mother who was totally illiterate but recognized the importance of education for her kids. Unfortunately, people like that are the exception rather than the norm.

Africa will gain one billion people over the next 30 years. How many will want to “migrate” to Europe? I can see this same pattern emerging in the EU if they don’t stop the flow now, and keep it stopped.

See the truth and get cut off ... Look at the bias inherent in the system

I'm talking about *all* mothers and *all* boys...throughout the world.Of course nothing is absolute and there are exceptions to every rule...and you and your brother are two examples of such an exception.

I'm a huge fan of African wildlife...I've been there several times and own every available National Geographic/BBC bluray on the subject. Some time ago I tuned into an Africa documentary that was focusing on a problem a South African national park was having with juvenile..."teenage"...male elephants. These teenagers were going wild...attacking other animals and causing huge problems in the park.It was decided that the problem was a lack of adult males to be teachers/role models/disciplinarians.That shortage had been caused by poachers...adult males are most targeted by poachers because their tusks are bigger and more valuable.

So they decided to "import" adult males from other parks. Not too long after that project was complete the "teenage" males were back to normal behavior.

IMO it works the same...almost always...with human males.

Minus the breakdown of the black families, black crime would have been greatly reduced, police forces across the country would have encountered less black criminals, altering many a policeman’s perceptions of anonymous black men in general, making for fewer fatal encounters between police and black men, producing a different public perception of blacks & crime and blacks and police.

But the core problem, the black family unit is not the concern of BLM.
