Well, Ms RoseofTexas, only a guy with a Geiger counter or a scintillator would know for sure.
And I ‘d have a pretty hard time getting a visa to enter Iran with that kind of gear ... even if I wanted to make the trip.

PS The iodine contrast in an x-ray scan is NOT radioactive. It IS radioactive when it’s a component of a nuclear medicine scan.
