That the one. It has many more and more dense reporting stations than the usual quakes. Also it isn’t that far from the China Lake quake area.

How far is it from Cartago to Pixley, CA. I might add trips to those two California towns to my bucket list. /s

I’m not sure, never heard of Pixley. This is a very rural area cut of from central California by the 14,000 Sierra Nevada Mountain Range.

“How far is it from Cartago to Pixley...”

Not nearly as far as it is to Crabwell Corners.

Unfortunately we need a 10.0 quake in every liberal city that last for several days.

Pretty country on the back route to Mammoth or Tahoe. When you hit Bishop don’t forget to stock up on Jerky/ Bacon at Mahogany Smoke Meats. They make an amazing fresh Deli Sandwich as well.

President Reagan stopped by there once, and then ordered their jerky via mail order for a number of years.

Isn’t Crystal Geyser water bottled there? I saw the plant the last time we visited Lone Pine.

We used to car camp a lot in the Eastern Sierra, before they widened 395. My wife’s favorite spot was on the East bank of the Owens river, just below the crossing at Taboose creek.

Yes, in nearby Olancha, also a tiny town, if you could call it that. Settlement might be a better word.

Nowhere near Northridge, which is within the city of LA. I didn’t feel it and I’m not that far from Northridge.

Earthquake in Mexico, now in California? Seems like there will be quakes farther up the Pacific coast soon. Washington?
