Former FBI director James Comey told President Obama that the 2016 conversations between Russian ambassador Sergey Kislyak and incoming national-security adviser Michael Flynn were not criminal in nature, according to notes from former agent Peter Strzok released by Flynns legal team.
The page of notes was taken by Strzok appears to describe a January 5, 2017 meeting of President Obama, Vice President Joe Biden, and national security officials. This meeting occurred amid accusations that incoming Trump administration officials had colluded with Russian operatives. Strzok was not present at the meeting, and it is unclear what record of the meeting he consulted in taking the notes.
Strzok writes that P, presumably President Obama, asked, Is there anything I shouldnt be telling transition team?
Strzok records that D, or Director Comey, responded Kislyak calls but appear legit.

In transcripts of conversations between Flynn and Kislyak released on May 29 of this year, Flynn is recorded asking the Russian ambassador not to escalate tensions in response to U.S. sanctions. Those sanctions were implemented by the Obama administration following reports that Russia attempted to interfere in the U.S. general election.
Strzoks notes also indicate that VP Biden mentioned the Logan Act during the meeting, although the context of Bidens remark is unclear. The Logan Act of 1799 forbids U.S. citizens from intervening in disputes with foreign nations without authorization. The law has been cited only twice in U.S. history in two cases in the 1800s and no one has ever been found guilty of violating the statute.

Pleading guilty when you know you’re not guilty seems like a very bad idea.
They were holding Fynn’s son hostage.
When they’re threatening to bankrupt and ruin you son if you don’t, it starts to seem less bad.

Yeah. But when agents of the US government are physically threatening harm to you and your family and when they hound you into financial insolvency; then yeah......
You are very very screwed.
Comey, like Rosenstein, played both sides, although both definitely leaned to the Left. Hedging bets, protecting careers from blowback through plausible deniability if the main plan was foiled.
More proof that the founders were correct to exclude the children of foreigners from being President.
And my guess is that Flynn swamp creature lawyers were in on it, too.
The uniparty sticks together and protects each other.
It happens all the time. That’s why they call it “plea bargaining”.
Biden was right there plotting.
It was the only way he could get them not to go after his son. And he couldn’t afford any more attorney-hours.
Its claimed they were threatening family.
No doubt.
Well remember he had the entire DOJ and FBI against him. He knows the extent of the deep state. HE didn't anticipate what a game changer Donald Trump truly would be.
Bankrupting your target to get him to roll over is classic abuse of power.
Obama really is a traitor.
Never put the ‘affirmative action’ hire in charge.

That it does. Just one more reason why we need a new party and not to stick with a fake party.
Embarrassing as hell for them. Sidney Powell and her one associate made the mighty Covington & Burling look like chumps.
NO MORE MARXISTS at ANY level of office
