There’s only one problem with this article. Why is New Mexico not mentioned? Because it doesn’t fit.

People have been border jumping the entire time. The three states mentioned didn’t take off quickly and peak like most states. But there is no escape, all states will have a blow-off peak at some point and those three states are now having that.

You can change the curve shape, but the area under the curve doesn’t change. Some states just move their peak to a later date, by accident or design.

Amazingly, at a time when politicians and media figures are pushing more lockdowns because of a rise in cases in some states, they fail to inform you that the biggest factor driving the most serious rise is coming from Mexico and is taking place in our southwest border counties.

More like 'predictable' ... not too amazing to folks who understand democrats.
