About a year ago, Wallace discussed going through a major bout of depression. The NASCAR community rallied around him and offered friendship and compassion.
This is how he pays us back?
In the last few weeks, NASCAR has gone full retard in their virtue signaling.
Before this latest incident, I made the decision and went as far as sending an email to NASCAR that I am no longer a fan. And I was a serious fan.
As I wrote in my letter, the confederate ballet flag had no bearing on my decision. The BLM thing did for one reason and one reason only. It affected competition. Other drivers are giving Wallace a pass and not racing him hard which is resulting in better finishes than he normally is able to get. His career average finish is 24. In the last three races, his average is 12th.
However, NASCAR also announced that they would no longer require teams to respect the flag during opening ceremonies.
That was my last straw. I’m done.
This noose/door pull insanity just sealed the deal. Steve Phelps is obviously a moron who is incapable of cogent thought and instead goes and cries like a three year old about a knotted piece of rope incapable of strangling a Barbie doll.
The behavior of every driver and team last Sunday putting Wallace on some sort of pedestal was indescribably insane.

I watched the race and I could not help thinking that this whole thing was a publicity stunt. All parties were involved.
They were just trying to take advantage of current events and failed.
Also, I am so sick of hearing about Corvid and when I do tune into something to watch I don’t want to hear about it.
Another clear case of people getting on the band wagon before the facts are in.
