"After years of sharing him with Barack, now you can have handsome and dependable Joe Biden all to yourself."
So proclaims the back cover of Hot Cup of Joe: A Piping Hot Coloring Book with America's Sexiest Moderate, Joe Biden, a thirsty ode to the former vice president of the United States and presumptive Democratic nominee for president, health permitting.
You've probably read a tweet or two agonizing about whether it's possible to portray "sexiness" without reinforcing the problematic sexism that pervades our patriarchal culture. Even if the answer is yes, illustrator Jason Millet's contribution to this important debate goes out of its way to legitimize toxic and outdated stereotypes of masculinity.

That said, I speechless about both the coloring book and the satiric article, which I read uncertain if the author was serious. I'd read all the same comments before in a serious vein.
I subscribe to the Washington Free Beacon Newsletter, since it has a conservative point of view.
Is Joe’s eye red because he winks it so much?
Joe sizing her up stands out, but look at Joe's hands.....he struggles to control his desire to reach out and touch her
Wondering if a person should color the leg fur gray since he’s so old?
Asking for a friend.
Part of my confusion is the coloring book itself. It’s so over the top I wonder if THAT is a parody too?
Then you have the parody of the review, of a parody.
Did the author make up the coloring book and the review?
Did anyone else notice some of the coloring of Joe portrays him as the Joker?
Did you notice the hammer and sickle image?
Did you notice capitalism portrayed as a vicious bear?
Look for the Helen Thomas foldout in future editions.
The coloring book is real. The author colored it the way he did and added words, a sickle, etc. as part of the commentary.
To be clear, I meant the author of this “review” added all that as part of the satire. The coloring book itself is serious as unbelievable as it may seem.
>> Moderate, Joe Biden
Bwaaahahahahahaaha
“The coloring book is real. The author colored it the way he did and added words, a sickle, etc. as part of the commentary.”
I figured the coloring was part of the commentary. What I couldn’t believe was that anyone would make such a book. Who is the audience? It won’t influence conservatives. Liberals already support him and the book is quite offensive.
The audience is all the lib pajama boys & girls that need safe spaces and coloring therapy to shelter them from the bad orange boogie man.

Ok, I can see that.
