Thats not a legitimate excuse. It would be fairly easy for a few guys and some rope to destroy that statue. There are conservatives in Seattle or the surrounding area, no place is %100 saturated with one ideology. That statue is a perfect easy target for retaliation and nobody takes it because our side refuses to fight back. Hell, one person with a tow strap and a 4 wheel drive could probably take it down. Remove your license plate, mask up and let er rip. This stuff isnt that hard, the left does it on a nightly basis!
