The Court of Master Sommeliers is getting rid of the word "master" in common practice. It's typical for master sommeliers to be referred to as "Master" followed by their last name, but the prestigious wine organization is changing that in an attempt to make the wine industry more inclusive.

I recognized that possibility but I always like to reply for the unknowing. Besides, any chance to use that good Norse-derived word 'niggardly' always gives me a warm feeling.
It got a guy fired from a Washington (DC) City Gov job for offending the ignorant at a budget meeting. The irony was that he was quickly rehired because he trumped the offense with being a self-professed gay! Rainbow, at that time, beat Black!
