I wonder... what would happen if some patriots got together, and ginned up some publicity for an Antifa Flag burning?

A lot of the National Park Service rangers at Gettysburg are Civil War experts. That is a prime NPS history billet and difficult to get into. I dont think the NPS will look favorably on any vandalism or harassment of visitors to the park.

The town of Gettysburg makes millions of dollars a year from Civil War tourism and lots of private businesses there cater to the tourist trade. I think anybody going in there to stir up trouble will be met with much resistance and hostility.

“They should use grape shot.”
Na, double shotted canister is what they should use. It worked very well against Pickets Charge.

Watch for the Antifa buses to roll in and park junk vehicles in front, back and along side to prevent the bus from moving and the door from opening. Then burn Antifa flags in front of them.

You don’t want to be hit by a .58 caliber minie or canister/grapeshot from a civil war era smooth bore cannon. Wounds back then were devastating: 1) heavy projectiles 2)dirt and filth carried into the wound.

Nothing less than a desecration of hallowed ground. I recently visited Gettysburg and could feel the spirits of those who fought and died there. What next a flag burning at the Tombs of the Unknown in Arlington.

According to the NPS, weapons are prohibited at the visitor center because it is run by a private foundation, not the government. From the NPS site: "Firearms in National Parks: The law governing possession of firearms inside a national park changed on February 22, 2010. Visitors may possess firearms within a national park unit provided they comply with federal, state, and local laws."
PA is an open carry state.

didn’t they threaten to do the same thing last year, and it never happened? This year they’ve been emboldened by the media/dem complex and the cowardice of the republicans, so they might actually do it this year.

Even the Left isnt dumb enough to give away their plans on social media - like the so-called bikers supposedly going to Seattle on July 4th. A real patriot action in Seattle would happen at night, CHOP leaders would receive their overdue 9 millimeters of love, and nobody would know what happened until the neatly stacked pile of bodies was discovered in their new garden the next morning by a hysterical CNN reporter. :)
Since this is a highly unlikely outcome, just like the Gettysburg flag burning/face painting circus, I expect no significant unrest at either location.

It would be good to supply the reenactors with modern sporting rifles and low capacity (30rnd) magazines.

An old man with a flintlock came out from Gettysburg and joined the Union line to help defeat Picketts charge. Maybe some of his descendants should show up.
