It must be the thing to do in that culture. Jahi McMath, who died in Oakland during an adenotonsillectomy, uvulopalatopharyngoplasty and submucous resection of bilateral inferior turbinates, was kept on a ventilator for years. It was all so macabre. She was finally buried in 2018 - and you should’ve seen the funeral! Her mother (who referred to herself as Jahi’s beautiful mother) asked everyone to be dressed in purple.

In our family, funerals are so sombre. Everyone wears black or charcoal. There’s no wailing and gnashing of teeth. We’re all composed and say goodbye with dignity.

the family went through hell

looked to see if the lawsuit settled but didnt see it in a quick glance
